The teasers on the bottom left of the magazine. This is the only part of the magazine that is visible on the shelf. The majority of the text is written in a light grey or white color. This is to make it stand out from the background. The main cover line is written in a larger font and uses red over grey as the secondary color. This is to attract the readers attention.

Case Study 2 : Cover
The magazine "Q" is a rock/indie magazine. The front cover features a mast head in big and bold font. The masthead is white in a red square. This is to make the masthead stand out more. The image is a close up shot. The model in the image is in front of the mast head as they are more important. The model is also looking at the audience creating a connection while the masthead is still visible. The model appears to be wearing dark clothing whic could imply that he is a rock artist. The skyline is used to attract readers rather than advertise the other feature article. The skyline says "Free music for 60 day".They advertise the incentive so that people will buy the magazine.

A good start, again you need to go more in depth - so link the cover line to the image you see - e.g. "unmasked" linking to image of Aphex Twin with a mask. Also more detail on the coverlines, colours, language used and how this all links to audience and genre. Where are contents and DPS for this case study? Also press kits? will help you know more about the audience..
